Citi's Securities Services is a key ICG business that provides financial institutions, investors and issuers with the products and services needed to administer their investment and issuing activities across an unmatched global network spanning 63 markets and 23 fund domiciles.-- - Services include custody, clearing, asset servicing, fund administration, ETF services, middle office, agency securities lending, collateral management, transfer agency, and trustee and depositary services (Debt Services, Escrow & Agency Services, Loan Agency Services, Structured Finance, and Depositary Receipts).This Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Role is a senior management level position responsible for identifying AML risks in the Securities Services businesses, working to establish internal procedures to prevent and detect money laundering, and assist in all matters concerning financial crimes in coordination with the broader AML team. The position will utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to identify issuesproblems and devise recommendations for complex situations, help advance regional AML Program goals, and provide support on global initiatives as needed.Responsibilities:Support the development and implementation of the firm-wide AML risk management policy as well as the strategic AML Compliance Risk Management (ACRM) direction as well as maintain the AML compliance program for the businessesAssess complex issues, structure potential solutions, and drive effective resolution with other senior stakeholdersReview, address, and escalate significant Financial Crimes Compliance issues and activities to senior managementWork with businessfunctional line management and provide compliance advice to the businesses on new business initiatives, new products, business acquisitions, and client-related matters with respect to the applicability of policies, the resolution of potential red flags or other clienttransaction-related compliance escalationsAnalyze data, prepare and present regional and global reports related to AML risk assessments, and monitor AML related issues and escalations with senior management and global partnersCoordinate various internal assurance processes including regional enterprise wide and horizontal risk assessments, self-assessment, internal audit, and compliance testing reviewAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications:10+ years of relevant experienceExperience in managing regulatory exams and relationships with examiners and auditorsExtensive knowledge of appropriate regulatory requirements including local and US laws, international and industry standardsExtensive knowledge of AML regulations, risks, and appropriate controlsDemonstrated leadership and motivational skillsAbility to work with regional and global partners, and influence and lead people across culture and senior levelEducation:Bachelor's degreeUniversity degree or equivalent experienceAdvanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA, etc.) preferredJersey City Salary Range: $152,050.00 - $228,080.00 USD AnnualIdentify and assess risk, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for efficient and effective coverageStrong written, verbal and analytical skills; strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through crisp and clear messagingStrong quantitative and data manipulation skills, and an ability to effectively communicate data-driven observations to senior management (via PowerPoint presentations and similar tools)Demonstrated ability to assess complex issues through root cause analysis and other analytic techniques, structure potential solutions, and drive to resolution with stakeholdersDemonstrated ability and confidence to challenge business management, escalate issues and press for change.-- - Comfort with creative tension across different lines of defense while maintaining professionalism and a shared goal of quality growthExperience in the implementation of AML programsStrong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing prioritiesComfortable navigating complex, highly-matrixed organizations-------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Compliance and Control-------------------------------------------------Job Family:AML Compliance & Risk Mgmt------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi"-- -) invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
