The Social Media Analyst & Community Manager will play a critical role in helping PIM bring this mission to life, shaping our social media strategy and serving as the voice(s) behind our portfolio of leading brands. With a deep focus on brand storytelling, influencer relations, community engagement, and channel growth, this position will be primarily responsible for driving engagement across existing social channels and building out emerging channels from scratch.
Working with our agency partners and internal marketing, design and digital teams, the Social Media Analyst & Community Manager will help develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract new customers and promote our brands and products in addition to engaging our existing audiences through the day-to-day management of our owned social handles.
Planning & Strategy

  • Develop monthly content calendars and follow up on the content implementation.
  • Manage 3P social media and advertising agencies and adhere to brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Identify and recommend best in class partners to facilitate and support our social media strategy.
  • Help grow our one-to-one relationship with consumers, working cross-functionally with the digital and brand marketing teams to develop year-round social media activations focused on growing PIM's first-party database.Collaborate & Create
    • Create relevant and compelling content for all social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube) that engages followers, drives traffic to digital properties and stimulates follower/fan growth. Develop creative formats include but not limited to are static, rich media, stop motion and video.
    • Draft copy for social media calendars (evergreen and campaign) and establish KPI's for measurement and enforce real-time optimization.
    • Own community management for all social channels (organic and paid). Craft messages: respond and manage social conversations according to brand guidelines, FAQ's script.
    • Direct and manage media buying agency to execute paid campaigns in alignment with social media objectives.
    • Act as the liaison and work with brand leads, PR, and other relevant agency partners to develop influencer campaigns that align with our annual and monthly content strategies. Identify ways to maximize these initiatives to grow our owned and operated social channels and drive conversion.Cultivate
      • Proactively cultivate conversations and engagement within existing audience to foster deeper relationships resulting in community affinity and growth.
      • Prospect and recruit new followers through laser-focused targeting and competitive brand conquesting.Research/Analytics
        • Measure social performance, craft regular reports that analyze the success of social media activity in helping to achieve objectives and recommend solutions and adjustments to meet evolving needs.
        • Monitor competitive landscape, industry best practices, social media tools and help update guidance documents as needed.
        • Leverage analytics and engagement analysis to continually improve social channels and grow following.
        • Gain expertise by knowing and continuously reviewing PIM brands performance objectives and KPI's, and address competitive threats, social trends, and the culture at large.
        • Engage in social listening. Be tuned into relevant industry news and trends.
        • Constantly gather social and cultural insights to identify potential opportunities to further brand objectives.Social Commerce
          • Proactively seek out opportunities to generate revenue and grow ecommerce conversions via social media channels with alignment of digital commerce team.
            REQUIRED SKILLS:
            • Social media management experience in all mainstream social networks (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter).
            • Skills to create and analyze live content and open-source information.
            • Experience in SEO best practices and knowledge of Google analytics.
            • Proactive team player willing to learn, grow, problem-solve, and assume responsibilities.
            • Ability to identify and quickly elevate crisis and potential crisis situations to relevant supervisors as needed.
            • Proficient in Adobe creative suite (i.e. Photoshop), Hootsuite, other social media management software and relevant social analytic/listening tools.
            • Must have an excellent eye for design and photography.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
              • Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in social media management.
              • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, digital media, marketing/advertising or related.
              • Relevant CPG experience is preferred
              • Experience in graphic design (typography, layout, composition) is a plus.
              • Experience in confections and the food industry is a plus.
              • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for social media, as well as an ability to adapt the style, tone, and voice of a brand across various types of content.PIM123
