special place to work. \n Job Overview \n The Maintenance Engineer
II maintains the physical structure and equipment of the store,
ensuring they remain in good working order. Responsibilities
include performing preventative maintenance as well as emergency,
corrective, and routine repairs on electrical, mechanical,
fire/life safety, plumbing, and HVAC systems. \n Full-time
colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per
week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24
hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague

Offer You \n \n Maintain HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing,
and fire/life safety systems, along with associated equipment, to
maximize efficiency. \n Perform emergency, corrective, and routine
repairs on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life
safety systems, ensuring optimal functionality. \n Conduct
preventive maintenance on equipment and systems according to the
established schedule. \n Keep accurate records of all inspections,
preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with state
and federal regulations, as well as local fire marshal
requirements. \n Maintain EPA Universal Certification and stay
updated on all relevant legislation, including EPA regulations and
South Coast Air Quality District regulations related to “CFC” and
refrigerant handling laws. \n Follow shortage control programs and
procedures. \n Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.
\n In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other
duties may be assigned. \n Foster an environment of acceptance and

connections with colleagues, customers, and communities. \n \n
Skills You Will Need \n Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge and
hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC, electrical,
mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems. \n Regulatory
Compliance : Familiarity with state and federal regulations, local
fire marshal requirements, and EPA/South Coast Air Quality District
regulations regarding refrigerant handling. \n EPA Certification &
Licensing : Must have an EPA Universal Certification and a license
(preferred) with in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems. \n Safety
Awareness : Understanding of personnel safety procedures and safety
engineering codes to maintain a secure work environment. \n
Problem-Solving & Adaptability : Ability to troubleshoot and
resolve technical issues efficiently while adjusting to changing
priorities. \n Communication & Collaboration : Strong interpersonal
skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with the Chief
Engineer, Store Management, and team members. \n Record-Keeping &
Documentation : Ability to maintain accurate records of
inspections, maintenance, and repairs for compliance and
operational tracking. \n Dependability & Initiative : A
self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team,
demonstrating reliability and accountability in all
responsibilities. \n Who You Are \n \n This position requires heavy
lifting, constant moving, remaining in a stationary position, and
reaching with arms and hands. \n Involves remaining in a stationary
position for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 50
lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders \n May
involve reaching above eye level \n Requires close vision, color
vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment \n Able to work a
flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays,
and during emergency situations, based on department and company
needs \n Able to travel between store and building locations \n \n
