WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Director, Brand Activation
SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior Level

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role is part Marketing - T rade Marketing - Field
The role is responsible for collaborating across the organization, as well as with agency partners to amplify our consumer touchpoints across all channels in your team's Strategic Markets. You will drive your team to become the omnichannel experts as it relates to where, when, and how ATCs live, work, and play. Your leadership will ultimately ensure that each marketing touchpoint is executed in best-in-class fashion and effectively connected with the others to deliver a holistic consumer experience with no dead ends.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Develop business cases to guide brand building resource investment and direct marketing spend.
Collaborate with internal Finance partners to develop and lead budgets.
Drive improvement of speed and quality of execution with internal and external executional partners across designated market.
Establish commercial and brand-building Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), methods of measurement, and timing for brand activation priorities.
Lead hypercare approach on all aspects of key in-person activation events (Indy Car Races, AOF takeovers, Festivals, etc.), and key market visits, assisting in leading all results.
Conduct regular business updates with Activation & Trade Marketing Leadership regarding alignment of important metrics, team performance progress, and driven activity.
Ensure all activations remain within our local LEX guidelines and marketing principles.

Do you have extensive people management experience?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
8+ years' brand and/or trade marketing experience or related field
5+ years' experience leading and developing robust teams
Experience in a fast paced, consumer goods industry strongly preferred
Experience understanding, developing, and handling budgets, including expenditures, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections
Work closely with external agency partners, and key internal decision makers (Activation, Trade Marketing, Brands, Marketing Intelligence and Insights, etc.) to amplify activation touchpoints (retail, AOF, event, digital, OOH, in-person) across designated Strategic Markets.
Develop local marketing strategies to improve the awareness and commercial performance of our brands.
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred

High competence in project and stakeholder management
Strong ability to build positive relationships.
