Job Description:
Promotions Manager, Home AppliancesThe Home Appliance promotions
manager is responsible for managing and planning promotional
programs, including producing collateral, in-store materials, and
digital assets and distribution to support the execution of LG's
home appliance promotional activities. Candidate must have strong
project management skills and the ability to assess the scope of
and execute promotions that positively impact sell out performance.
This role manages the creative development of promotional
materials, negotiates contracts with suppliers, manages and
processes all financials, has a strong creative background and
impeccable communication skills. Must have a committed and strong
work ethic and the ability to work cross functionally within the
Home Appliance business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management for all national promotional specific
materials for home appliances; bundles/rebates, gift with purchase
/ value add offers, limited time offers, promo playbooks, retailer
circular ads, and other custom marketing requests.
- Manage and oversee timelines for all national promotions.
- Lead bi-weekly project status meetings with cross functional
teams to ensure flawless execution that will hold strong compliance
and effectiveness.
- Partner with PP&T (price, promo & trade), channel
marketing, and product marketing for promo offer details and
strategy.
- Manage agency briefings for communication strategy/offer
positioning.
- Obtain legal approvals for all assets prior to execution.
- Collaborate closely with channel marketing to ensure all final
retailer asset needs are provided (digital and print).
- Amplify promos across owned channels and paid digital.
- Work closely with customer experience and e-commerce teams to
update promotions across LG.com.
- Review all assets and ensure pricing changes are applied across
each platform.
- Manage and track overall promo budget management including
invoice reconciliation, payment tracking, and SOW processing in
compliance with LG general procurement processes and policies.
- Support GTM (go to market) team with keeping promo readiness
tracker up to date
- Participate in product, promotion, marketing and finance
meetings to ensure alignment across all teams.
- Upload all final marketing assets to Smartsheet - for team
visibility
- Assess promotional program effectiveness by examining
redemption rates and post-promotion ROI analysis to provide sales
and marketing with recommendations to improve the performance of
future promotions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
- 5 - 7 years of marketing / brand / project or promotions
management with 3+ years managerial responsibilities.
- Experience developing multi-channel/fully-integrated
campaigns.
- Ability to tightly manage timelines and budgets.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Aptitude to quickly learn new systems.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to independently create and deliver clear
presentations.
- Home appliance background preferred but not required.
