Responsibilities
The Business Solutions Manager is reporting to the Director, Content Distribution Technology within the Operations & Technology Services division. This role is responsible for supporting financial and operational systems for the Content Distribution division of NBCUniversal. The primary responsibility is to be a liaison to the business and work with the Product and Engineering and Vendor resources in the support of critical systems. This includes requirements analysis, vendor management, process re-engineering, documentation of business processes and support of audit and SOX requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support business critical financial and operational systems for Content Distribution. Main systems include Medea Financial Subledger, RECAP Remittance Portal and BI - Financial Reporting for Financial Teams
• Engage with key business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, processes, strategies and needs
• Work with business users, off shore resources and vendor in the creation of test documents, software testing and rollout of application upgrades.
• Manage vendor relationships including release management, issue prioritization/escalation and driving feature road map.
• Work closely with internal Product and Engineering teams, as well as, external partners to execute against key technology goals for the Financial division
• Manage/Co-Manage key projects within the financial portfolio
• Perform Application Release Management, Internal Audit and Sox compliance functions
• Ensure operational excellence
  
  Qualifications/Requirements
  Basic Qualifications
  B.S. degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or other related discipline
  4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst w/Project Manager Experience
  2+ years Media/Entertainment Industry experience (desirable)
  Knowledge of Network Distribution subscriber fees billing and collections processes (highly desirable)
