Position SummaryOpportunity to be part of a part of a cutting edge and growing team within Home Entertainment (HE) category for our eCommerce Direct-To-Consumer (DTC). Own portfolio of products within HE category which include TV, AV, Monitors & Memory products. Drive business through innovation, planning and execution of strategic initiatives focused on the E2E consumer experience by building a best-in-class digital shopping experience to scale across the landscape of desktop, Mobile-web and Mobile App (Native) users. It is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team growing the business by -2x over the last few years and expected to grow at the same rate for the next few years. As a measure of growth, the Samsung DTC business currently contributes 2.5% of all TV sales revenue in the US, up from Role and Responsibilities Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage: The Category Manager/Business unit owner within Home Entertainment category, will own a portfolio of products and its business ($150M+) end-to-end to help deliver the revenue goals by working with cross functional teams on areas such as forecasting, demand generation, channel marketing, best in class customer digital experience/engagement, fulfillment, P&L management, customer service experience, omnichannel execution, marketing - channel/CDM/CRM, etc.
  • Build: Help build best-in-class digital shopping experience focused on E2E customer journey built around the customer, brand and the product. Be detail oriented in understanding the different customer-product segments and help build curated journey and experience addressing the customer needs. Build and execute GTM strategy working with stakeholders from cross-functional teams including but not limited to - Merchandising, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, Finance, Customer Service, etc.
  • Optimize: Obsess over data to make key decisions to help optimize and grow the business. Optimize for conversion throughout the customer journey based on data to delivery frictionless customer engagement and journey. Identify areas of opportunities through data and drive operational efficiencies focused on the customer to drive business impact.
  • Innovate: think outside-the-box, leverage data, and build insights to create business cases to build scalable solutions to drive the growth of your business; develop functional capabilities to test, learn, and iterate to accelerate category growth.Skills:

    • Collaborative, team builder with high organizational EQ who can work cross-functionally and can quickly develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Skills and Qualifications Qualifications:
      • 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing/Management, Category Management experience for Technology, Consumer Product and/or Consumer Electronics is required. Recent Graduate from Top 50 MBA program preferred.
      • Extensive experience implementing category strategy, preferably in eCommerce.
      • Knowledge and passion for direct-to-consumer eCommerce business practices and operations. Digital UI/UX enhancements experience a plus.
      • Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and navigate matrixed organizations in a global setting.
      • Strong analytical, data-driven problem solving and decision-making skills.
      • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines on multiple initiatives with competing priorities, cutting through noise and focusing on the business impact.
      • Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
      • Experience with Tableau and Confluence required. Expertise in Excel and/or SQL preferred
