Wealth At Work Business Risk Manager- KYC/AML/Sanctions Lead:The candidate will be accountable for management and oversight of all complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas involving Financial Crimes. The individual on this position will play a strategic role on the management of all KYC/AML related functions for CGW Wealth at Work (WaW). In coordination and with support from CPB NAM US and EMEA CPB UK, the candidate will manage the day to day operations & monitoring on all of the Financial Crimes Activities including KYC/AML , FinCEN, SANCTIONS, KYC IA/ EA Exams impacting (WaW). - It will also partner with CPB NAM and Global CAO Business Risk Financial Crimes teams, for the delivery of CGW WaW Metrics & Reporting, monitoring & follow up, including Risk Data Analytics.The candidate will Require a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function. Apply in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Familiar with the management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget, and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget-approval.Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for day-to-day compliance KYC/AML/SANCTIONS metrics monitoring and the execution of any Corrective actions derived from those metrics
  • Accountable for Overall Corrective Actions Plans derived from internal and or external examinations. Responsible to manage CAPs -
  • Owned first line AML governance responsibilities including maintaining and or ensuring Wealth At Work representation on KYC/AML/FinCEN/Sanctions policy and procedures.
    • -Responsible for completing regulation change assessments, ensuring complete and current AML risk control self- assessment (RCSA) on behalf of Wealth At Work
      • Reviews and monitors all daily, weekly, and monthly metrics Results [PR/PPR/Pending Resubmit, FinCEN] related activities and action those to completion when possible and guide banker teams on what to do to ensure the business complies and there are no triggers and or metrics failures.
      • Server as SME to guide Wealth At Work banker, and service teams on all AML/KYC/FinCEN related inquiries. Advised on complex initiatives, product and customer money laundering, terrorist financing and financial crime issues on behalf of the business.
      • Report and escalate any issues to the Business Risk Head and or to executive and business segment management.
      • Coordinates and contributes with the appropriate CPB NAM support for any KYC /AML IA/OCC regulatory requests.
      • Managed the Annual Senior Public Figure, HRC Review on behalf of the Wealth At Work organization
      • Participates on all KYC / AML/ Sanctions related Committees and Forums & working groups
      • Collaborates with OWS Activities -
      • Managerial skills, able to lead and direct a team of professionals.
      • Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function.
      • Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity.
      • Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions.
      • Ensure that emerging risks identified are socialized with key stakeholders and mitigation strategies are in place.
      • Identify areas of engagement based on level of investment, inherent risk, complexity of change and other risk factors
      • Execute Risk Control coverage strategy, ensure appropriate risk mitigation actions are in place and escalate to senior management as appropriate
      • Provide supervision of Risk Control team's efforts and assist with prioritizing and addressing roadblocks encountered
      • Leverage reporting to identify trends, themes and areas requiring improved controls
      • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications:
        • 10+ years' experience in Risk and people management
        • Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary.
        • Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget, and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
        • Proficient in MS Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint) required ---Education:
