Customer Support Products overseeing programs and products for
Low-Moderate Income (LMI) customers. This position can be located
in Syracuse, NY Albany, NY, Buffalo, NY, Melville, NY, Hicksville,
or Brooklyn, NY.

Job Purpose
The Lead Analyst will focus on the design and the development of
strategy, programs and partnerships focused on product growth for
Energy Efficiency programs, the Low-Income Energy Affordability
Program (EAP), as well as non-Energy Efficiency programs and
offerings within the low to moderate income (LMI) customer sector
for New York.
The role will focus on efforts to optimize LMI product offerings in
support of achieving regulatory and company targets, increase
customer participation and satisfaction as we strive toward a
clean, fair, and affordable energy future.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the LMI customer portfolio of programs focused on achievement
of energy efficiency targets, demand management and climate change
objectives throughout the company to advance National Grid's
position as a leader in these fields.
Collaborate and communicate with internal partners such as
Strategy, Customer Energy Management, Customer Sales & Solutions,
Market Segmentation & Growth, Customer Groups, Credit & Collection,
Procurement, Legal, Regulatory, EM&V, Corporate communications,
etc. on LMI programs and offerings.
Focus will be on product life cycle for programs and services from
program development and design, supporting through implementation,
and applying market insights, customer data and evaluation findings
to inform the process and program improvements.
Lead the optimization of LMI product and service development to
support regulatory requirements, meet compliance obligations, as
well as Earning Adjust Mechanism (EAM) achievement through energy
savings, carbon reduction, and peak reduction, as well as
contribute to the growth of the programs/products to increase
customer participation and satisfaction.
Support the negotiation of new or modified programs, overall
funding levels, performance incentives, reporting requirements and
metrics with regulatory agencies, non-utility Parties, regional
collaboratives, efficiency program providers, local government,
customer groups, environmental organizations, and others to ensure
best value for National Grid.
Coordinate and collaborate with key external stakeholders, such as:
NY State Public Service Commission & Staff, and other energy
efficiency program administrators and state agencies, as well as
Low-Moderate income stakeholders to increase opportunities with new
and existing customers.
Responsible for ensuring completion of required regulatory filings
and contribute content for the LMI proceedings, Energy
Affordability Program (EAP) proceeding, energy efficiency plans,
rate cases, etc.
Qualifications
BA/BS in a business, social science or energy sustainability
related area or 3-5+ years equivalent experience required. Advanced
degree a plus.
Knowledge of the clean energy industry, utility operations,
low-income customer needs, energy legislation or affordable housing
is preferred.
3-5 + years of energy efficiency, residential or LMI program
design, or energy industry related analytical and/or regulatory
work.
Must possess strong management skills, excellent verbal and written
communication skills and the ability to write reports and develop
presentations for senior management as required.
Experience managing a program(s) that includes technical,
financial, and regulatory elements.
Understanding of the regulatory environment and experience working
with and meeting regulatory requirements.
Ability to stay current with developments in the fast-moving
utilities marketplace, anticipate future customer needs and
recommend appropriate action.
Strongly demonstrates all National Grid's leadership qualities and
capabilities.
Significant project management and influencing skills.

Salary
Upstate NY: $98,000 - $115,000 a year
Downstate NY: $116,000 - $137,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement
opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in
the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and
applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided
offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their
individual experience.
