Westwood, New Jersey OB Hospitalist Locum Tenens Rhino Medical
is leading the charge recruiting Board Certified OB/GYN Physicians
for an exciting OB Hospitalist locum tenens opportunity in
Westwood, NJ. This is a startup program with a strong need for
flexible physicians ready to step into a 24-hour in-house coverage
model. Whether you’re looking for a full-time assignment or a
steady rotation of shifts, this role offers stability and the
chance to shape a growing program. Assignment Highlights Location:
Westwood, NJ Contract Type: Locum Tenens – OB Hospitalist Start
Date: 10/11/2025 (Temporary privileges possible for clean files)
Duration: Long-term (6 months) Shifts: Flexible; 24-hour in-house
call coverage preferred Monthly Volume: Up to 15 shifts available
per provider Schedule: Mix of weekdays, weekends, and holidays as
needed Program & Facility Profile Annual Deliveries: ~600 NICU
Level: III Staffing Model: Single MD coverage 24/7 EMR: Epic
Surgical Team: Provided by main OR OB Coverage: Includes
collaborating with CNMs from affiliated FQHC (majority of
deliveries) Clinical Scope & Duties Care of all unassigned OB
patients presenting to L&D Manage obstetric admissions, labor,
deliveries, and postpartum rounding/discharge Assess all unassigned
triage patients and OBED patients (if in place) Supervise Certified
Nurse Midwives in the hospital setting when applicable Collaborate
with Maternal Fetal Medicine for maternal transfers Assist with
obstetric emergencies for all patients on L&D Provide D&C
for emergent cases (rare occurrence) Assist with C-sections for
community clinicians when available Inpatient and ER consults as
required Coordinate with community OB/GYNs to ensure continuity of
care Call coverage for community physicians as needed after program
launch Candidate Requirements Board Certification: OB/GYN (or
eligibility within 5 years) Experience: Minimum 2 years active
practice Certifications: BLS (AHA) Skills: Strong OB emergency
management, labor & delivery oversight, and surgical support
capabilities Flexibility: Willingness to work 24-hour shifts and
