Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Travel experience required Epic experience required Description: Full-time registered nurse position in the emergency room. Available options for 36 or 48 hours per week. This position requires working nights. Every other weekend is required. The unit consists of a 25-bed emergency room. An emergency department provider is available 24/7, with a midlevel provider present daily from 10 AM to 8 PM or 10 PM. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates should have experience with a patient ratio of 6. Emergency experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center is preferred. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills in various emergency situations. Key responsibilities include assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients. The position requires managing patients with diverse emergency conditions. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is necessary for optimal patient care. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the Epic charting system. Emergency procedures and interventions will be part of daily responsibilities. Candidates should have expertise in managing critical situations such as drug overdoses, cardiac events, and trauma cases. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory for this role. A strong focus on patient safety and quality care is essential. Candidates should be familiar with procedures for both adult and pediatric populations.
