Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) Facility: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center Managed by: Ardent Health Services Location: New Jersey Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12 hrs (19:00–07:30) Position Details - Unit: 5440-5058 – Emergency Room - Patient Ratios: 1:6 (Days/Nights/Weekends) - Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (2 shifts per contract) - Orientation: 60 hours - Pre-approved PTO: 1 request - Block scheduling: Not available Requirements - Experience: 3 years ER experience - Travel experience: Required - Preferred Experience: Charge RN, Teaching hospital, Community hospital, Trauma Level I or II - Charting System: Epic Certifications - Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC - Preferred: CPI ?? Key Skills Emergency/Trauma: Dysrhythmia interpretation & management, ventilated patients, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, ABG interpretation, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, head injury, burns, poison ingestion, asthma, psychiatric emergencies. Technical: Central/arterial line care, IV starts, blood product administration, 12-lead EKG. Other: Triage, orthopedic splinting, isolation precautions, managing violent behavior. Patient Population & Support - Ages: Neonates ?
