Provide specialized nursing care as a Registered Nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting, focusing on Level II patients. This role requires expertise in critical care techniques and patient monitoring for newborns needing close observation and treatment. Location This opportunity is based in Westwood, NJ, a vibrant suburban community known for its friendly atmosphere and proximity to urban amenities. Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonates requiring Level II NICU services - Monitor vital signs and assess infants conditions continuously - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic medical records system - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and respiratory therapists - Educate families regarding their newborns care and progress - Maintain compliance with NICU protocols and safety standards Qualifications / Desired Experience - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with NICU experience preferred (minimum 2 years) - Proficiency in Epic charting system is required - Ability to work 3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts (19:00 07:30) - Strong communication skills and attention to detail - Commitment to compassionate, family-centered care Schedule - 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) Additional Information This is a contract position offering a chance to contribute your specialized skills in a supportive NICU environment.
