EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: - New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N. - Basic Life Support Training - Infection Control Training - Associates Degree in Nursing Required - Bachelors Degree in Nurse Preferred - Certification in specialty preferred - Effective English communication skills, both written and oral - Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems - Cardiac or ICU experience as an RN is preferred UNIT: CCU Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
