Job Description:

NICU RN – Level II Schedule - Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts - Weekend coverage required Requirements - License: Current RN license - Certifications: BLS, NRP (including Advanced NRP), STABLE - Experience: 2 years preferred in a NICU setting - EMR: Epic experience required - Skills: - Core neonatal skills including respiratory support (Bubble CPAP, HFNC), vascular access (peripheral IVs, UAC/UVC management), feeding (bottle, breastfeeding support, oral/NG/NJ tube placement), and common neonatal care procedures Roles & Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive care for neonates in a Level II NICU - Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans - Educate families on infant care, feeding, and developmental needs Compliance / Notes - Orientation: 12 hours, held weekly - Travel radius: 50 miles - COVID-19 & flu vaccine status: Unknown
