Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical Network), is partnering with a highly respected surgical organization seeking a full-time Director of Nursing (DON) to support an exceptional ambulatory surgical team near Englewood, New Jersey.

Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities

• Oversees the nursing staff and overall nursing operations of ambulatory center
• Use sound management principles to organize, plan, coordinate and control the flow of patients, activities/services, personnel, and utilization of resources.
• Develops, monitors, and communicates staffing schedules, and makes daily adjustments as necessary.
• Responsible for preparation and oversight of the clinical staffing operating budget.
• Provides adequate levels of staff to ensure safe and effective nursing care.
• Resolves conflicts, mediates, and ensures compliance with policies by employees and physicians
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required, a bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current, active, unencumbered RN licensure.
• 2 years Nursing Management experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• ACLS or successful completion of ACLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation based on experience, starting at $140,000 yearly
