Position OverviewThis is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding office role. As the HR Assistant/Office Administrator you will be expected to perform a variety of clerical and other duties supporting Human Resources and the rest of the office. This position allows you to gain experience and insight into many different aspects of a business. This will be a part-time position (20-25 hours per week), with some flexibility in scheduling.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reflect the core values of DAALD Senior Care LLC (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise)
  • Assist in the hiring process for new CAREGivers, starting with pre-employment screening all the way through onboarding
  • Complete reference calls on prospective CAREGivers in a timely manner
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records in the operating system (Applicant Stack and ClearCare)
  • Ensure accuracy and organization of client and CAREGiver files
  • Assist in the bi-weekly billing process
  • Create monthly newsletters for CAREGivers
  • Take on special projects throughout all departments of the business
  • Ensure all Board of Nursing, Accreditation and Home Instead standards are met and upheld
  • Answer and distribute incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Field new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner and schedule care consultations
  • Assist colleagues in preparing client materials for home visits
  • Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm and professional manner
  • Perform any and all other functions deemed necessaryQualifications
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • College degree preferred
    • Experience in home care or similar industry preferred
    • Must have knowledge of computers, including entire Microsoft Office Suite
    • Time management
    • Ability to stay organized
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Effective written and verbal communication
    • Must be a self-starter and proactiveEach Home Instead franchise is independently owned and operated.
