Position: HR Coordinator
Position Type: Permanent
Location: Englewood, NJ
Hours: Flexible - 40-hour work week (8-hour workday between hours of 7:30am - 6:00pm)

We are looking for an HR Coordinator who will support the Human Resources Operations Manager. The person selected will be responsible for recruiting, payroll, benefits related issues and benefits administration. The candidate will perform various generalist and/or administrative functions to support the organization.

What you will be doing:

Communicate the various benefit plans and maintain appropriate files.
Lead the recruiting process for plant hourly and various salaried positions using approved resources.
Maintain employee human resource files.
Assist employees with Self-Service and other self-help resources.
Assist with Employee Relations and/or union grievance process.
Assist Health & Safety professional with Worker's Compensation incident reporting, training, and record keeping.
Serve as point person for employees regarding FMLA and other leave issues.
Record all information necessary to prepare affirmative action plans.
Actively assist with audits, in providing supporting information.
On-board all new hourly and salaried employees.
Administer, log, maintain, and track all required training courses.
Participate in and assist HR Operations team with implementing policy, procedures, and practices involving the Human Resource function.
Daily monitoring of time clock system to ensure data accuracy.
Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll timely and accurately.
Address hourly employee maintenance-direct deposit, tax changes, raises etc.
Process new hires and terminations.
Serve as point person for all payroll related issues/concerns.

What experience we are looking for:

Associate degree in business field, highly preferred. High school diploma required in combination with relevant work experience.
3-5 years of Human Resource, Payroll and related experience.
Bilingual English/Spanish (Strongly preferred).
Experience with using an HRIS system, Paycom highly preferred.
Recruiting experience in the manufacturing industry would be a big plus.
Benefit administration experience (Healthcare, life insurance etc.).
Exposure to FMLA and employee relations.
Union environment experience.
