Job Description:

Currently, we are seeking a Service Manager based out of our Lincoln Park, location based out of our Lincoln Park, NJ Branch.
As a Service Manager you will be responsible for increasing the profitability of  the Service Department, along with creating efficiencies in the branch's processes. The Service Manager is also critical in promoting and instilling the ELTC culture amongst employees.

Main Duties:
  • Manages the daily work of Service Technicians from dispatch
  • Building and van maintenance
  • Work with Field Service Manager and Regional Field Service Manager to manage training
  • Manage WIP (Work In Process)
  • Ensure quotes are getting done as needed and right away
  • Review work orders for proper labor before billing, and ensure billing accuracy
  • Manage Field Service Manager, along with coordinating audits and completions of JSA’s
  • P&L review
  • Increase revenue and technician count, working directly with Branch Manager and Aftermarket Sales team and manager
  • Work closely with the Parts Dept. to establish proper practices and procedures
  • Manage cleanliness of shop and office space working directly with Rental Dept.
  • Manage CM tickets with FSM and RFSM
  • Thorough understanding of industry services, customers, procedures, and policies.
  • Material Handling Industry experience strongly desired.
  • Ability to motivate, mentor and coach service staff and managers.
  • Thorough knowledge of technical aspects of forklifts, heavy equipment and other related Material Handling Equipment.
  • Ability to handle stress and operate under strict deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical and diagnostic skills required
  • Read and understand schematics
