Position Summary and Project Details:

This summer you will have the exciting opportunity to support public relations and communications programs to advance Samsung's industry-leading consumer electronics (CE) product portfolio. The role supports the CE PR team's strategic efforts to raise awareness of the Samsung brand and innovative products across its Home Entertainment, Home Appliance and Display businesses - from new product launches and events, to creative integrated campaigns.

General Duties include but are not limited to:

• Research and ideation to support creative campaigns targeting Samsung's consumer segments
• Analysis of media coverage results and trends to aid strategic planning
• Development of product feature and benefit guides to support media reviews of Samsung's flagship products; logistics and coordination of product samples and demo events
• Press material development, including press releases and pitches, blog posts, talking points and thought leadership

    Qualifications:
    
    
    • Experience in developing and executing public relations and media relations campaigns
    • Passion for consumer electronics, along with brand and product storytelling
    • Avid consumer of media in all mediums
    • Superior written and verbal communication skills
    • Creative thinker, problem solver with desire to learn and contribute
    • Attuned to a teamwork environment, fast-paced rhythm, and a results-oriented culture
    • High proficiency of Microsoft Office is required
      Internship Eligibility:
      
      
      • Must be enrolled in an accredited University
      • Proper work authorization
      • Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
      • Attend New Hire Orientation on first day
