Job Description:

A professional services firm in New Jersey is currently seeking an experienced Application Architect to join their staff in a Technical Lead position. In this role, the Application Architect will be responsible for leading a small team of 3-4 resources on deployment, documentation and troubleshooting of multiple applications.

This is a Hybrid role requiring the qualified professional to work at least 3 days onsite.

Responsibilities:

The Application Architect will:

• 
  
• Provide oversight and mentoring to Technical Deployment Services Applications Engineers
  
• Manage process improvement activities
  
• Provide final review of Technical Deployment Services artifacts, such as installation guidance
  
• Prepare test environment for user acceptance testing upcoming builds
  
• Perform installation validation according to smoke test and log results in score cards
  
• Log defects for product installation issues and track through resolution
  
• Lead virtual classroom training activities
  
• Perform other duties as needed
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 2+ years of related work experience
    
  • High School Diploma / GED
    
  • Strong previous technical experience
    
  • Expertise with the Microsoft stack (IIS, .NET, SQL)
    
  • Experience with Technical Documentation
    
  • Previous experience in a Leadership role
    
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
    
  • Great interpersonal skills
    
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    
  • Strong attention to detail
    
  • Highly organized
    
    
    Desired Skills:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
      
    • Experience with Azure or other Cloud technologies
