Job Description Our client delivers Value Added Logistics Solutions on a Global Scale with a customized approach
to meet the client's needs and demands.
We are currently searching for a highly motivated IT Specialist.
Roles & Responsibilities
*The IT Specialists responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: *
- Installs, configures, modifies, and makes minor repairs to computer hardware and software as
needed.
- Assisting call-ins or live chat with technical difficulties
- Resolves retrieval problems by altering design to meet requirements.
- Prepares reference material for users by drafting operation instructions
- Organize and file documentation pertaining to instructional guides for computer software and
hardware
- Training end users on hardware functionality and software programs.
- Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by the IT Leader.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT related field or an equivalent combination of education and
experiences.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
- Comfortable working in and assisting others through remote access desktop programs
- Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows, Mac OS,
Android, and iOS.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.) is a big plus.
- Some travel may be required.
